Mongolian winter has own beauty and futures. On this tour, we will visit Terelj National Park, rock formations erupt out of the snow and ice against a backdrop of pine covered mountains flowing down to valleys dominated by frozen rivers, hike in Khustai National Park, lies in the foothills of southern Khentii mountain range and it is the place where you can see wild horse called Takhi known as Przewalski horse to the world and discover frozen semi sand dunes of Mongolia Gobi under the snow and beautiful Khugnu Khan mountain.

We have activities including horse riding, camel riding, dog sledding, walking on frozen river and sand dunes and visiting nomadic family

Summary & Booking

We will pick you up from the airport/train station and transfer you to the hotel. After some rest at the hotel, we will visit Gandan monastery, the first temple was built in 1837 and was center of Buddhist learning in the Mongolia and Mongolian National history museum. The museum is currently recognized as one of the leading museums in Mongolia. The significant responsibility for preserving Mongolian cultural heritage therefore lies with the museum. Then, we will transfer you to the hotel. Stay in hotel***

We will pick you up from the hotel and drive to Terelj National Park. On the way to national park, we will visit Chingis Khaan Equestrian statue that is highest one in the world. In the NP, we will visit Turtle rock that is natural rock formation and hike to small temple AryabaI. After lunch at the ger camp, we will make horse riding for an hour. Dog sledding is possible. It is 35UD per person for 20-30 minutes. Overnight at ger camp (110kms –About 3 hours driving)

We will head to Khustain Nuruu National Park, where herds of wild horse (Przewalski horse) are re-acclimatizing since 1992. Takhi is last wild horse subspecies surviving in the 21st century it was discovered in western Mongolia in the late 1870s by the Russian explorer N.M. Przewalski. We will spend at leisure hiking in the surrounding mountains, to explore wild horses. On the way to Khustai NP, we will visit Bogd Khaan Palace museum that contains a rich collection of the king & queen’s unusual items they used in everyday life, gifts received from foreign dignitaries, the Buddhist leader’s valuable articles used as leader of Mongolian Buddhists, some of his childhood toys, a ger lined with the skins of 150 snow leopards and many more unforgettably interesting exhibits and Zaisan hill that offers the best panoramic view of the city and the surrounding sacred mountains and nearby Buddha park features a 23 meters huge statue of Buddha. Stay at ger camp (About 180kms- about 4 hours driving)

We will drive to Elsen Tasarkhai or semi sand dunes, a part of the Mongol Els sand dunes, which stretches along the Tuv, Uvurkhangai and Bulgan provinces and is about 80kms long. We will walk around the sand dunes and make camel riding for an hour. Then, we will drive to Khugnu Khan mountain, situated in the boundary area of Bulgan, Ovorkhangai and Tuv provinces covering an area of 46,990 hectares and visit small hidden temple “Erdene Khamba”. Stay in extra ger of nomadic family (About 200kms-About 4 hours driving)

We will drive back to UB and do some shopping. Drop you at the hotel (About 300kms-About 5-6hours driving)

Transfer to the airport for your departure.
