In northern Mongolia behind a wall of mountains, sits a harsh but mystical landscape of prairie, forest, and a few hundred lakes scattered over a wide plain called the Darkhad Depression. Deer, wild boar, squirrel, beaver, otter, ermine, marten, sable and wolf inhabit the region.
The difficult access to the region ensures the unique Tsaatan people, who are among the inhabitants of the valleys, are able to continue their traditional lifestyle. Their daily life is largely dependent on domesticated reindeer, which they keep for riding, transport and for their meat and milk. Reindeer hides are used for making clothing and covering teepees. Here is one of Mongolia’s last refuges of shamanism. Let’s do the unique tour!

We will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel. After some rest at the hotel we will visit to the National History museum and see Mongolian traditional show at 6 o’clock. After dinner, we will transfer you to the hotel. Stay in hotel***
We will drive to Murun town and pend one night on the way. After arriving in Murun, it is possible to visit a local
market. Stay in local hotel (About 800kms- about 10 hours driving)
After early breakfast, we will drive to Tsagaan Nuur village. Stay in guesthouse (About 300kms-about 11 hours driving)
Today, we will drive to Reindeer Herder camp. We will talk to
them about their culture and tradition and observe their life Stay in tepee (About 2 hours driving)
We will drive to Renchinlumbe village. We will enjoy the landscape and take photos in the view of Khoridol Saridag mountain and Jargalant
river. Stay in hostel (About 120kms- about 4-5hours driving)
After early breakfast, we will drive to Khuvsgul lake and reach there in the evening. Next day, we will explore the lake and drive to Murun in the afternoon. Stay in ger guesthouse at Khuvsgul lake on 21 st and hotel for a night in Murun on the second night (About 300kms- about 10hours driving to Khuvsgul lake)
We will fly back to UB and do some shopping. Drop you at the hotel*** “ (About 1.5 hour flight)
